Good search examples: (search form)
Notice that by changing the options, you can increase and decrease the number of results. The maximum number of results is when you choose match = any word, topic = all topics, look into = both. The minimum number is for match = exact phrase, topic = legislature, look into = title.
1. Match all words: the term "budget gender" (without quotes), gives you resources who has both words in any order. An example from the results is "Parliament and the Budgetary Process, Including from a Gender Perspective: Arab Regional Seminar"
2. Match exact phrase: use this if you exactly know part of the title or are looking for a known sentence or part of a sentence in the title or abstract or either (remember to set look into = both). For example, if you know of a resource titled "Parliament, the Budget and Gender", enter this in the search box and choose match exact phrase.
3. Match any word: use this option if the first two options do not give enough results. Different spelling, different forms, words used rarely or words for the same term are good candidates. An example is "Ombudsmen Ombudsman". Common words are not good candidates (for example, you expect to see the word "parliament" everywhere, so it is not a good example here).
